The LAPCO TT course is based on a two-day programme. The first provides interactivity and practical coaching rehearsal in a skills lab setting. The second day focuses on clinical coaching in the operative environment. Coaching skills are taught in an interactive discussion and are then assembled to enable situational training for surgeon.
The mock exam replicates the same condition as the actual exam which follows it around six weeks later. It is held under exam conditions in the Golden Jubilee Training Suite with current, senior examiners examining at every station.
A 2 day interactive course to prepare candidates with an interest in coloproctology for the FRCS
This meeting will review the current best practice in the management of pelvic floor conditions and importance of care by a multidisciplinary and multi-professional team.
This course will be held in the Clinical Anatomy Skills Centre (CASC)
This course has been specifically designed for surgical trainees with a colorectal interest. It is aimed at ST5 level and above but may be suitable for trainees in earlier stages of their training with experience in laparoscopic appendicectomy and cholecystectomy.
