The RSM and Oxford Centre for Personalised Medicine (CPM) will bring together an exceptional group of national and international experts in their fields to review the most recent advances of both the science underlying the aetiology of colorectal cancer and the current and future clinical management.
This course will help participants to develop self-awareness of their learning styles, individual strengths and development needs. It will also discuss service improvement including writing business cases and discuss areas such as time management and work life balance.

Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Europe (AWR Europe) is a three-day CPD certified international conference on basic and advanced surgical strategies for the complex abdominal wall defect, including reconstructive and aesthetic techniques. Scientific lectures and practical video sessions will be combined with open panel discussions and debates by our international Faculty.
Perioperative care practitioners (PCPs) and surgical first assistants (SFAs) can improve their intra-operative performance and help them observe and rate intra-operative non-technical skills on this course. You will recognise the importance of non-Technical skills of all team members during operative surgery; discuss the underlying principles of non-technical skills; and identify and rate these skills.

The event encompasses a full day of talks and networking. The morning session will focus on radiology, pathology, pregnancy and endoscopic innovations in IBD surgery, with a high level IBD discussion MDT. This will be followed by sessions on innovation, abdominal wall reconstruction, national directions in UK IBD surgery, cutting edge IBD surgery techniques and UK/European expert keynotes.
A multi disciplinary day aimed at anyone interested in developing new studies in colorectal surgery. The day will be interactive and hands on with group discussion faciliatated by experienced researchers, trial methodologists, patients and funders along with journal and industry representation.
