Guidelines Committee

The Guidelines Subcommittee was newly formed in 2024. Our aims are to support the development of guidelines within an ACPGBI Guidelines Development Framework including:

1. Selecting areas for guideline development in consultation with the membership
2. Define the requirement for the topic (guideline or consensus statement, solely or in collaboration with others)
3.  Support selected guideline development (guideline development group formation, methodology)
4. Review of new or existing guidelines

We have written a guideline development framework which is available here. This is a working document intended to be used as a reference guide by those involved in ACPGBI guideline development
