This event, hosted by Dr Jeremy Nightingale MD, FRCP, Honorary Consultant Gastroenterologist, St Mark’s Hospital, Harrow, and includes six selected presentations that will inform participants of the latest developments and good practice in coloproctology.

The presidential address will acknowledge aspects of gastroenterology relevant to Coloproctology practice, especially concerning intestinal failure and nutritional support.

Learning outcomes for participants:

  • Know and discuss current best practice and research in Coloproctology
  • Coloproctology Section: John of Arderne medal
  • Open to: All coloproctology/surgery trainees

Prize: The John of Arderne Medal, a Travelling Fellowship of £500 to the following year's overseas meeting to Stockholm on 1 - 4 June 2023 and a position on the RSM Coloproctology Council; all shortlisted candidates will receive free one year membership of the RSM with associated benefits.

Application guidelines: Abstracts should state briefly and clearly the purpose, methods, results and conclusions of the work and must not exceed 200 words.
