Biography
I have been a substantive consultant Surgeon with specialist interest in Colorectal Surgery of 10 years standing. I have a specialist interest in Colorectal cancers and haemorrhoid surgery. I offer Laparoscopic surgery within an enhanced recovery programme and participate in national audits for bench marking.
I am currently the Lead Clinician for Colorectal cancer MDT in ABHB. I am also Honorary Clinical teacher in Cariff University with active involvement in undergraduate education. I am also a trainer in Basic Surgical skills course (WIMAT Cardiff), National Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery Course (South Wales programme) and Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery course and Masterclass (Wales).
I also maintain a keen interest in benign anorectal conditions with specialist interest in haemorrhoid surgery, offering the entire spectrum including Stapled haemorrhoidopexy and HALO procedure.
I remain an active participant in the activities of association of Coloproctology surgeons (ACPGBI) within South Wales and very much hope to continue providing consistent, quality assured, safe care.
