This one-day hands-on course is the skills component of the new Fundamentals in Coloproctology Course by the Dukes' Club and ACPGBI.
The course will include step-by-step training on the fundamental procedures in colorectal surgery including different types of bowel anastomosis (both stapled and hand-sewn), Creation of Ileostomy and colostomy, and the principles of small-bite abdominal wall closure.
This course is designed for Core Surgical Trainees applying for general surgery and ST3-ST4 in general surgery.
A refundable deposit of £50 for Dukes'/ACPGBI members. £50 fee for SAS and trainee doctors who are not members of ACPGBI. You can apply for ACPGBI membership (which includes Dukes' Club membership) through this link.
