Meeting Theme: 'Multidisciplinary Cancer Management' - Evolving Role of Surgical Oncology

#BASO2022 Annual Scientific Conference which will be held in-person at The Law Society, London.

The meeting programme will showcase:

The meeting is themed on – Multidisciplinary Cancer Management – Evolving Role of Surgical Oncology.

There is an excellent programme which will be facilitated by the National  and International experts in the field of cancer surgery. Guest speakers include Professor Isabel-Teresa Rubio, Miss Jennifer Rusby, Professor Irving Taylor, Professor Richard Heald, Professor Peter Sagar, Professor Mike Dixon, Professor Dame Sue Hill, Professor George Hanna, Professor Mark Emberton and many more.

This year the meeting is also open to all those trainees, consultants, allied healthcare professionals, nurses and medical students who wish to gain an insight in how to advance their surgical careers.

There will be symposias, Debate session,roundtable discussion session, and our prestigious plenary award orations with an audience with our keynote speakers & award recipients. The meeting is designed to provide a unique environment for interdisciplinary learning and cross-fertilisation of ideas, by bringing together delegates from all cancer disciplines and offering excellent networking opportunities.

There will also be a  BASO Trainees/Skills Day on 19th November.
The meeting will focus on ‘multidisciplinary cancer management’ with programme designed to support the learning & educational needs of junior colleagues. There will be interactive sessions including speed-mentoring, case-based discussions and much more.

There will be a portfolio of abstract prize sessions open to our Trainees, Medical Students and AHP colleagues.
