A one day small group observational course including live operating and talks covering the current evidence, theatre set up / positioning / docking, the technique and the pitfalls of robotic colorectal cancer resection.

Recommended Consultants colorectal surgeons and possibly ST7 trainees who would like an introduction to robotic colorectal cancer surgery.
The day will include:
- A summary of the current evidence for colorectal robotic resection & financial considerations
- An appreciation of the technique for CME and anterior resection
- Live demonstration of the Da vinci Xi robotic system to complete a resection featuring
- integrated table motion
- FireflyTM system
