ACPGBI will be hosting a multidisciplinary one day meeting at RCS on
15 May 2017 to highlight areas of need in both surgical care and research for patients with advanced colorectal malignancy, encompassing metastatic disease, and locally advanced or recurrent malignancy. The meeting will be chaired by our President, Peter Dawson, with support from President Elect Jim Hill and President in Waiting Brendan Moran. The intended output from the day will be an ACPGBI position statement of areas of clinical need in providing care for patients presenting with advanced colorectal malignancy.
Attendance from other disciplines will be by invitation but there are also a restricted number of first come, first served places for ACPGBI Consultant members who would like to attend. Travel expenses will not be available for ACPGBI members who are asked to do so at their own expense. Attendees from this day will be citable authors on any publication arising from the event.
