Suitable for all specialties and approaches, this course is taught by leaders of an NHS national training programme.

Whether you’re teaching robotic, laparoscopic or open surgery, this course gives you the structure, tools, and confidence to deliver impactful, high-quality training.

  • Mark Coleman – Lead architect of the NHS national training programme in laparoscopic colorectal surgery.
  • Niccolò Allievi – A general surgeon specialising in colorectal and peritoneal surface malignancy surgery.
  • Session 1: Introduction and Scene Setting (120 mins)
  • Session 2: Interactive training, discussion, and shared experiences led by Lapco faculty to refine your teaching approach. (120 mins)
  • x2 faculty to a maximum of 8 delegates.

After the Session 1 you will be sent a course pack to study at your own pace (aprox 4 hours of your time required):

  • Video Modules
  • Key readings and abstracts
  • A series of reflection exercises

Once you’ve completed the course, you’ll receive an official Lapco Online ‘Train the Trainer’ Certificate, recognised across multiple surgical specialities.
