JL ACPGBI 2025 research prize
The London ACPGBI representatives are pleased to welcome abstracts for presentation at The Joint London ACPGBI Winter meeting which will be held at Medtronic, 230 City Road, London, EC1V 2QY on Monday December 15th 2025.
One abstract from each London region will be selected for an oral presentation and the 2025 JL ACPGBI research prize will be awarded to the best abstract presented at the meeting.
To be eligible, presenters should be either a medical student, postgraduate student, surgical / medical trainee, nurse. allied health practitioner or medical practitioner with an interest in colorectal surgery.
Abstracts can be on any subject relating to coloproctology. Clinical, basic science and healthcare systems abstracts will be considered.
Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words long and divided into introduction, methods, results and conclusion sections. A maximum of 2 images/tables may be included and submitted as a single PDF file. The title of any PDF images should be 'presentingauthorsurname_presentingauthorforename_written2025' e.g.Lister_Joseph_written2025.pdf.
By submitting an abstract, the presenter is confirming that, should they be selected, they will be able to attend the meeting to present their work. Abstracts not fulfilling the criteria above will not be considered for presentation.
