This webinar will cover diagnosis and management of conditions involving the appendix ranging from the common to the rare and atypical. It will also cover challenging cases, difficulties encountered at surgery, and potential treatment strategies. The presentation will include key aspects of management of early and advanced appendiceal tumours that are relevant to surgeons in training, general, and colorectal surgeons.

Mr Omer Aziz is a consultant colorectal and peritoneal tumour surgeon at The Christie Colorectal & Peritoneal Oncology Centre (CPOC). He specialises in advanced and recurrent colorectal cancer, sarcomas, and appendix tumours. CPOC is one of two nationally commissioned high volume peritoneal tumour services in the UK specialising in appendix neoplasia offering cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy.
