Based down in Exeter, I specialise in advanced and recurrent colorectal cancer and manage patients with complications from surgery. I have an ever increasing research portfolio and an active training programme. I support the specialist stoma organisations and travel around the world lecturing and operating on complex abdominal problems.
In Exeter I am fortunate to have all the specialist pelvic cancer surgeons (Urology, Gyanecology, Colorectal) in one building and support from plastic surgery and specialist orthopaedics on site, allowing me to easily coordinate care.
I am part of an active research unit - Exeter Surgical Health Services Research Unit (HESRU) and academically i am active (PubMed Daniels I and Ian Daniels on GoogleScholar).
