Biography
Mr Mohamed graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School in 1996 and underwent Higher Surgical Training in the North East of England. He was awarded Doctor of Medicine by The University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2005 for research into intraperitoneal chemotherapy for the treatment of intra-abdominal cancer which was carried out under the supervision of Dr Paul Sugarbaker at the Washington Cancer Institute, USA where he spent 2 years as Research Fellow. In 2009 he was appointed Consultant Colorectal Surgeon with an interest in the surgical treatment of peritoneal malignancy at the National Pseudomyxoma Peritonei Centre in Basingstoke.
