Biography
Miss Hannah Javanmard is a Specialist Registrar in the East Midlands Region. Her specialist research interests are in colorectal surgery and emergency general surgery, particularly emergency laparotomies and appendicitis. She spent three years as a research fellow for the National Emergency Laparotomy Audit. Her research work has won numerous high-profile accolades including a research fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the 2021 British Journal of Surgery Prize and the 2022 Moynihan Prize.
