Biography
A highly dedicated and accomplished surgeon specializing in colorectal surgery. Since graduating in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery, from Cairo University, I have embarked on a journey of continuous learning, growth, and practical experience.
After completing my undergraduate studies, I began my practice in 2014 as a general surgery resident at Cairo University Hospitals. During this period, I gained invaluable hands-on experience in various subspecialties, including upper GI, Colorectal, breast, bariatric, hepatobiliary, complex hernia, trauma, and emergency general surgery., I pursued a master's degree in General Surgery in 2016.
In 2017, I was appointed as a teaching assistant in the General Surgery department at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
Driven by my desire to deepen my understanding and contribute to the advancement of surgical knowledge, I successfully completed my Ph.D. in General Surgery in 2019.
In March 2019, I joined Frimley Health NHS in the United Kingdom, where I have been an active member of the general surgery team.
A significant milestone in my professional growth was achieved in 2023 when I successfully passed the FRCS in Colorectal Surgery.
Throughout my career, I have prioritized a patient-centric approach, valuing their well-being, comfort, and involvement in decision-making. I believe in fostering open communication and building strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
