Biography
Mr. Narouz, MBBCH, FRCS Ir, is currently a substantive colorectal/general surgery consultant at St. Bernard's Hospital, Gibraltar. He finished his training in the Republic of Ireland followed by a Colorectal fellowship at St. James's Hospital, Leeds and a Trauma fellowship in King's College Hospital in London. He then worked as a colorectal/general surgery consultant at St. James's Hospital, in Dublin which is a tertiary university hospital. Following that, he started a substantive Colorectal/General Surgery Consultant role in the Isle of Man for 3 years. He specializes in Laparoscopic colorectal resections, TAMIS procedures for early rectal cancer and large rectal polyps, Laparoscopic TEP hernia repairs, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and advanced endoscopy including colonic stenting, EMR and PEG insertion.
