Biography
Mr Rajan Kumar Patel qualified from the Welsh National School of Medicine in 1984. He has trained as a General Surgeon specialising in colorectal surgery in Wales, West Midlands and Minneapolis, USA. He has carried out postgraduate research on cytokines in sepsis and inflammatory bowel disease and has been awarded an MD thesis by the University of Birmingham. His specialist interests currently are in Laparoscopic surgery, inflammatory bowel disease and Enhanced Recovery after surgery.
