Biography
Mr Linn qualified from University of Dundee, Scotland in 1996. He did his internship in Dundee. Mr Linn’s basic surgical training was based in the North West Region (Manchester and Lancaster 1997-2000). He successfully completed his higher surgical training in the West Midlands Region (2000-2002 and 2003-2007). He also carried out a Master degree in Surgical Science (MSc) at the University College of London (2002-2003), and his thesis was on the Colorectal Cancer Cells Adhesions.
Following the completion of his higher surgical training, Mr Linn undertook an extra year specialising in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery (fellowship) at the Basingstoke and Frimley Park hospitals (National Training Centre for Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery 2007-2008) prior to his consultant appointment in Blackpool in 2008. Mr Linn has been the lead clinician for Colorectal Cancer in Blackpool since 2012.
