Biography

Lt Col Leigh Davies is a military General Surgeon with a specialist interest in Colorectal Surgery and sub-specialist interests in Emergency and Trauma General Surgery. He is a graduate of the University of Wales College of Medicine having qualified in 1997. He has undertaken training in General and Emergency surgery and sub-specialist training in Colorectal Surgery. Before finishing his training in 2012 he undertook specialist Fellowships in Advanced Surgical Pelvic Oncology in Swansea and Cyto-reductive Surgery/Pseudomyxoma Surgery in Basingstoke. He practices in Cardiff, South Wales as a General and Colorectal Surgeon and has additional responsibilities as the Trauma General Surgical lead and lead for Emergency Surgery training modules for the trainees.
