I am an eager to learn surgeon looking for high quality educational material to advance my career for the benefit of patients. Meeting new surgeons in the field of coloproctology and networking is the way to the future. I have finished my General Surgery residency training in Jordan in 2016 which was followed immediately by a 3 year Surgical Oncology fellowship in King Hussein Cancer Center which consisted of visceral malignancy surgery with the bulk of cases being Breast and Colorectal. I have been assigned to liaise with The Christie Hospital after a 2-month observership period in 2018 for a collaboration which ended with performing the first cases of cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC in Jordan. I have moved to the UK in 2019 where I did a Fellowship in Peritoneal and Pelvic Oncosurgery and HIPEC at the Christie Hospital in Manchester followed by a 1 year Senior Colorectal Fellow job at the Royal Free Hospital in London. I am currently midway through a Minimally Invasive Colorectal Surgery fellowship at Royal Derby Hospital. I passed the FRCS in Sep 2021 and I am a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. I have also passed the first part of the European Board of Surgical Oncology examination with the second part upcoming this October in Bordeaux, France. I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the ACPGBI and I hope to be a valuable contributor in the years to come.
