Biography
My initial surgical training was in London before completing two years in research looking at novel modalities for the future of of surgical teaching under the guidance of Lord Darzi at Imperial college. I continued my training in Oxford before completing a fellowship in minimally invasive colorectal surgery in Newcastle upon Tyne. I was appointed as a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Leeds Teaching Hospitals in 2011.
My main clinical interests are surgical robotics, local treatment of early rectal cancer and pelvic floor disorders. I take an active role in surgical teaching, training and mentoring.
