Biography
Dominic studied medicine at Birmingham University and his surgical training was in the North west. He was appointed a Consultant at Salford Royal Hospital in 2006. He is a trained general, laparoscopic and intestinal failure surgeon. He specialises in inflammatory bowel disease, pouch surgery and dealing with its complications, intestinal failure and abdominal wall repair for massive and complex hernias. He is a keen trainer and is the Assigned educational supervisor for the senior clinical fellow post in intestinal failure and abdominal wall reconstruction. He is chair of the Association's abdominal wall subcommittee and a member of its emergency general surgery subcommittee.
