Dr Maria P. Eugenicos, MD, MSc(Clin Ed), PhD, FHEA, FRCPE.
Neurogastroenterologist / Senior Lecturer Edinburgh University. Elected member of the Neurogastroenterology & Motility Section and Education committees of the British Society of Gastroenterology. Specialist interest in Neurogastroenterology and Clinical Education. Member of the FRONTIER Neurogastroenterology research group. Studied the Neurophysiology of Functional Bowel Disorders and completed her PhD thesis at Edinburgh University. In recent years, has expanded her research and clinical interests in the disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBI) and their associations with Neurological disorders, Endometriosis, Eating disorders, Microbiota, and Autism.
