The Worshipful Company of Needlemakers is providing 5 bursaries of up to £1000 each in the academic year 2014-2015. The bursaries are available to trainees who are members of the College or an affiliate and wish to attend one of the RCS Education courses listed here and held at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In order to apply, you must: Be a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England or an affiliate Be in stages CT1-CT2 of a recognised UK training programme Judging criteria (equally weighed): Completion of the application form Answer the following question, ‘What is the relevance of the Needlemakers to minimally invasive surgery?' Reasons for applying for the bursary Academic achievements Commitment to education/educational activities   Closing date: Sunday 10 August 2014.
