Virtual Travelling Fellowship in Ileo-anal Pouch (IPAA) Surgery

We are delighted to launch the Virtual Travelling Fellowship in Ileo-anal Pouch (IPAA) Surgery, a new collaborative educational initiative between The Dukes' Club and The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) IBD Subcommittee.
Designed for senior colorectal trainees and fellows with a strong interest in IBD and pouch surgery, this 12-month fellowship will provide structured exposure to complex IPAA practice through:
▪️ Dedicated virtual IPAA MDT attendance
▪️ In-person operative exposure at accredited pouch centres
▪️ Structured case-based discussions
▪️ A mentored audit/research project aligned with national collaborative priorities.
The fellowship aims to strengthen national training opportunities in advanced pouch surgery while promoting multidisciplinary learning, mentorship and collaboration across specialist centres.
