In November 2022 ACPGBI were asked by Baroness Hallett to provide a witness statement for Module 3 of the Covid-19 Public Enquiry, detailing how the pandemic had impacted on colorectal services nationally.

This link takes you to that final statement which was ultimately submitted after a number of rewrites and consideration by Council.

We are now in a position to publish this statement. As President at the time I take overall responsibility for its content. I hope that you will agree however that it reflects the position at the time.
