Did you know you can apply for access to JAG data for research?

Data have previously been used for papers on safety, clinical quality, training, work patterns and in-depth research into topics such as diagnostic yield in symptomatic endoscopy, the impact of feedback of colonoscopy key performance indicators, and endoscopy in upper GI bleeding.

What is available?

With over 2 million endoscopy procedures recorded per year, the National Endoscopy
Database (NED) is our most powerful dataset. Providing non-biased key performance indicators via a schema produced in consultation with the BSG, ACPGBI and AUGIS. NED captures detailed procedural data on upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, EUS and ERCP procedures.
