We are thrilled to welcome Jim Tiernan, Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon. Leeds and Julie Cornish Colorectal Consultant, Cardiff as the newly appointed Surgical Specialty Leads in Coloproctology.

Funded in collaboration with Bowel Research UK, Julie and Jim will work alongside the RCSEngland to develop colorectal research networks and multi-centre studies across Great Britain and Ireland.

Both bring outstanding leadership, expertise, and a shared vision to push boundaries in colorectal surgery and research.

We look forward to working with both.
