Crohn’s & Colitis UK recruiting for new Research Awards Panel

Crohn’s & Colitis UK are currently seeking new members for our Research Awards Panel. The Awards Panel is responsible for the review of all research grant applications and making recommendations of which projects to fund to our Research Strategy and Funding Committee. We would like to receive applications from both clinical and non-clinical researchers who have a strong research background in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or other relevant disciplines such as data science. We are also looking to recruit a Co-Chair for the Awards Panel.

We would be grateful if you could share with your colleagues and networks as we would particularly like to hear from people with expertise in one or more of these areas:

  • Gastroenterology
  • Surgery
  • Paediatrics
  • Nursing
  • Omics (proteomics, genomics, metabolomics, etc)
  • Psychology
  • Dietetics
  • Basic research related to IBD such as cellular/molecular biology/inflammatory processes
  • Data science
