E-books are a great resource for busy surgeons searching for answers. It’s an entire library at your fingertips, available 24/7 on any device whether you are at work or home.

You can read over 1000 e-books covering medical and surgical specialties via ClinicalKey. As well as key books in your subject, you can read titles from a broad range of areas such as Pharmacology. ClinicalKey provides full-text book chapters of the latest editions and many titles have additional videos to watch. How to find e-books Are you looking for a specific title – Colorectal Surgery: A Companion to Specialist Surgical Practice? There are two options:
  1. Login to the RCS website and search for titles using Surgicat+, the library catalogue. Click on the ‘online access’ button to open the book. Then click to open the chapter you want or search the book for specific terms.
  2. Or use the Browse option within ClinicalKey, filtering for books to search for the title you are looking for.
Looking for broader subject information? Then search ClinicalKey directly to find e-books, full text journal articles, images and so much more. Type your subject terms into the search box. You can filter the results by format by checking the boxes on the left side of the screen. And don’t forget the journals Did you know that the library subscribes to 78 out of the top 100 surgical journals? You can access full-text articles in Clinical Colorectal Cancer, Gastroenterology and Seminars in Colon and Rectal Surgery within ClinicalKey.
