Nominations are invited for the President -in-Waiting for the period 2016-2017, to serve as President-Elect from 2017-2018 and President from 2018-2019 or 2020*)

This and subsequent posts may be subject to modification pending proposed constitutional changes. https://www.acpgbi.org.uk//about/council-and-executives/the-roles-of-councils-and-executives/ The proposer should be on Council, but any ordinary member can be a seconder. All Ordinary Members will be eligible for election as President but will normally have had experience of serving on Council. Nominations must be on a nomination form and accompanied with a personal statement detailing why you feel you would be able to fulfil this role (approximately 500 words). The President-in-Waiting will then be elected by those members on Council with voting rights. In the event of two candidates achieving equal votes, the final recommendation will be made by the current President, President-Elect, President-in-Waiting, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer.
