The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) has an opportunity for surgeons to showcase innovative research during the New Technologies Symposium, which will be held during the 2017 Tripartite Meeting, June 10-14, 2017 in Seattle, WA.

Abstracts must be submitted by Tuesday, November 29 at 11:59 pm EST (US Time).  This non-CME symposium focuses on new innovations in the area of colorectal surgery, such as pharmacology, devices, prototypes, techniques and approaches. It serves as a national platform to highlight early discoveries. Abstracts are peer-reviewed and scored on scientific merit, originality and relevancy to the field of colon and rectal surgery. The Program Committee is also looking for abstracts in the following categories:
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Neoplastic Disease
  • Outcomes
  • Benign Colon
  • Benign Anorectal
  • Basic Science
  • Pelvic Floor
  • Case Presentations (e-Posters Only)
Since this is a Tripartite meeting, please be sure to note on your submission form which of the Tripartite organizations best represents your membership. Tripartite organizations include the European Society of Coloproctology, Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Colon and Rectal Surgery Section, the Section of Coloproctology Royal Society of Medicine and the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland.
