About ACPGBI

The Delphi research project is putting together a collaboration of UK gastroenterologists and colorectal surgeons to better understand and study outcomes in perianal Crohn's disease.

The initiative is being led by Miss Nicola Fearnhead on behalf of ACPGBI and Dr Ailsa Hart on behalf of the BSG. It will involve multiple IBD units across the UK and the initial work has been funded by the Bowel Disease Research Foundation and the BSG. We would be grateful for your assistance in developing a Core Outcome Set (COS) for perianal Crohn’s disease. The process consists of three short Delphi consensus surveys via an online platform. Register your interest before the 31 August deadline here The electronic Delphi exercise will begin later this year; all answers will be kept confidential. A selection across the key stakeholder groups (including patients) will be invited to be participate in a face-to-face consensus exercise following completion of the online rounds. All participants who complete the three online Delphi rounds will be formally acknowledged on any publications. Further information on this project Please contact Kapil Sahnan (kapil.sahnan@nhs.net), Philip Tozer (philtozer@doctors.org) with any questions. We welcome your support!
