Dear ACPGBI Member Funding is available for proof-of-principle/early stage research no longer than 12 to 18 months in duration. The maximum award is £50,000. The area of interest is research in malignant and non-malignant, diagnostic or treatment studies in lower GI/bowel that will translate to tangible patient benefit. The guidance notes and preliminary application form are available for download from the Bowel & Cancer Research web site. The deadline for all preliminary applications is 5pm on Friday 7 September 2012. Please forward all applications using the form provided by email to Debbie Hampson at d.hampson@qmul.ac.uk.
