Laser ablation treatment is a standard treatment for high grade AIN and anal warts at Homerton Anal Neoplasia Service. It is performed with HRA (high resolution anoscopy) visualization, which consists of a proctoscope, 5% acetic acid, and a colposcope.
This is a 51 year old gentleman who presented with a change in bowel habit who was found at endoscopy to have a carpet polyp within the rectum, around two thirds of the circumference of the rectum from 7cm to 12cm.
