Low Rectal Cancer National Development Programme (LOREC)

 LOREC is a pilot programme, funded through the National Cancer Action Team, to increase the awareness of the complexity of low rectal cancer and to develop skills for assessing, staging and treating low rectal cancer. Further information can be found on the LOREC website.

National Training Programme in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery

A National Clinical Training Programme for Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery with 10  dedicated training centres in the country.  

Bowel Disease Research Foundation

The Bowel Disease Research Foundation of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland is a registered charity, which aims to advance the cure and treatment of bowel diseases.
