Thomas Dudding is a colorectal surgeon and pelvic floor surgeon at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. He has a specialist interest functional bowel disorders and neurostimulation.
He graduated from University College London in 2000 receiving the John Briffa prize for outstanding academic and extra-curricular achievement. After completing higher surgical training, qualifying in general and colorectal surgery, he was appointed as a consultant surgeon at University Hospital Southampton. He has a strong interest in the diagnosis and management of pelvic floor disorders with extensive experience gained from research and training at St Mark's Hospital, London.
He has published scientific papers and book chapters and frequently is an invited speaker at international and national meetings and teaching courses due to his expertise in the field of sacral nerve stimulation for bowel control.
