Mr Niroo Rajendran was appointed as a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Queen’s Hospital, Romford in November 2016. He qualified from St George’s, University of London and completed his surgical training in SW Thames/KSS. He was awarded an MD(Res) and attained his FRCS in 2015.
He successfully attained a Colorectal Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Melbourne, Australia) followed by the RSO post at St Mark’s Hospital. He has special interests in locally advanced and recurrent rectal cancer and pouch surgery.
He is the lead for Surgical IBD and has developed exenteration and laparoscopic ileoanal J pouch services. He led the successful bid for Robotic surgery at Queen's Hospital.
