Mr Sajal Rai

Mr Sajal Rai MBBS, MS, FRCS, FRCS (General Surgery), is a Consultant Laparoscopic and Colorectal Surgeon at the Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport. He practices privately at the Alexandra Hospital Manchester, Spire Hospital Manchester and the Spire Regency Hospital, Macclesfield. He has a special interest in Colorectal cancer and Inflammatory Bowel Disease and its management. He also treats common bowel complaints like piles, anal fissures and fistulas as well as hernias and gallstone disease.
Mr Sajal Rai trained in Leicester and completed a fellowship in laparoscopic colorectal surgery at Bristol. He was awarded a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) by the University of Leicester in 2007 for his research on risk prediction in colorectal cancer.
