We have vacancies for 3 elected members on the Independent Healthcare Committee.
The aim of this committee is to improve patient care and raise standards for patients with colorectal disorders treated in the independent sector.
It is clear that nationally private hospitals are performing significant amounts of NHS work in addition to treating private patients.
ACPGBI is committed to representing all colorectal patients in all types of hospitals. Whilst we are accepting that this committee also represents members of ACPGBI with private practices this is not its primary aim.
These vacancies are open to ordinary members.
