This meeting aims to review the development of treatments in relation to colorectal disease.

There will also be the presidential address from Professor Humphrey Scott, Consultant Surgeon, Ashford & St Peter’s NHS Trust and Head of School for HEE, Kent Surrey and Sussex for his term of office as President of the Coloproctology Section.

Professor Scott will discuss his life history about how he came to be involved in what he does now and how surgery and training has changed over a relatively short space of time.

This evening meeting will also feature a series of trainee presentations, which will form part of the submission process for the John of Arderne award for the 2017-2018 academic year.
