The Society of Colorectal Surgeons Singapore (SCRS) is convening our inaugural Singapore Colorectal Week congress in August 2019. We are bringing together local and regional colorectal experts to share on the latest advances in treatment. In our local context, this is the first collaborative meeting bringing together surgeons from private and all restructured hospitals (including SGH, NUH, TTSH, CGH, KTPH, NTFGH and SKH).
Pelican Cancer Foundation and the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) are collaborating to deliver the Pelican IMPACT programme for all colorectal MDTs in Great Britain and Ireland in 2018/19. An excellent steering committee has helped to design an original one day workshop.
The day incorporates and encourages discussion, review of surgical experience with peers, live demonstration of TEPP and TAP hernia repair, interaction with expert surgeons on technique followed by suturing tuition and practical experience with dissection and mesh placement in our state-of-the-art laparoscopic skills lab.
