This event will give you the skills required to step up in theatre!\n\nJoin us for an Essential Surgical Skills Day featuring exciting talks from surgeons, hands-on workshops including laparoscopic skills, and more. This event is open to all medical students interested in surgery or research - from total beginners to those ready to level up.\n\nEvent Details:\n Date: Saturday, 17th January 2026\n Time: 10:00 AM - 3:15 PM\n Location: Physics Building, University of Nottingham, NG7 2RD\n Lunch provided\n Limited to 30 medical students (first-come, first-served)\n\nThe event is free to attend, but you will need to pay a £20 deposit that will be refunded upon attendance. We hope to see as many of you there as possible!\n\n
