Brendan Moran, Consultant Surgeon Basingstoke since 1995. Main interests are rectal cancer, imaging rectal cancer and peritoneal malignancy. Currently running Significant Polyp Early Colorectal Cancer (SPECC) program.

Executive Lead for Clinical Outcome Publication for Bowel Cancer from 2014-16. Chair of ACPGBI Research & Audit Committee 2013-17. Convenor of ACPGBI IMPACT initiative.

James Wheeler is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon, and Specialty Lead for Colorectal Surgery, at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.

Mr Austin Acheson

Research and Audit Committee Chair

Mr Acheson is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and Associate Professor at Nottingham University. Main interests include Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Laparoscopic Surgery, Anaemia and Clinical Trials.

Mr Mark Chapman

External Affairs Committee Chair

Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Heart of England Foundation Trust. A member of the ACPGBI for over 20 years, he has held many posts starting by representing trainees on the Education Committee. More recently he has chaired the Independent Health Care Committee.
