Mr Acheson is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and Associate Professor at Nottingham University. Main interests include Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Laparoscopic Surgery, Anaemia and Clinical Trials.

External Affairs Committee Chair

Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Heart of England Foundation Trust. A member of the ACPGBI for over 20 years, he has held many posts starting by representing trainees on the Education Committee. More recently he has chaired the Independent Health Care Committee.
