ACPGBI is pleased to announce that the first provisional programme is now available
Edinburgh is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, teeming with history from the medieval Old Town with cobbled streets and winding closes to the neoclassical New Town built in the 18th century. Edinburgh is built on 7 hills which provide a stunning backdrop to the city, one of the most iconic being Castle Rock. It is famed for the annual Edinburgh International Festival held in August each year and is the UK’s largest financial centre after London.
Famed for its academic teachings, Edinburgh has the sixth oldest university in the English speaking world. Notable alumni include Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Charles Darwin, Alexander Graham Bell and Robert Louis Stevenson.
The 2016 ACPGBI Annual Meeting has been designed to provide a wide overview of current and controversial areas in coloproctology. It ranges from the prevention of colorectal disease to the management of advanced disease and complications of treatment. There is something for everyone, and, indeed, we hope that the whole programme will be of real interest to everyone involved in the management of colorectal disease in its widest sense.
