What is the Council and what does it do?

The business of The Association is conducted by the Council which consists of the Officers of The Association, Chapter Representatives,  four other non-surgical representatives (oncology, histopathology, radiology and Chairman of the Nurses’ Forum or his or her representative), the President of the Dukes’ Club (or his or her representative), and the Chairman of the Bowel Disease Research Foundation. All Officers and Ordinary Members of Council together with the Chairman of the Nurses’ Forum and the President of the Dukes’ Club have full voting rights.
