Ballet Black at the Dorchester

£41,614

Ballet Black, in association with the Parkinson’s Disease Society, was held at the Dorchester on 27th November 2009. The evening began with a champagne reception, followed by a fine supper punctuated by performances from a host of talented dancers from the Ballet Black Company and a rendition of Richard Rodgers’ You’ll Never Walk Alone by classically trained soprano Sarah Reed. The night came to a crescendo with an auction, silent auction and raffle.

The evening was a great success, raising in excess of £80,000 to share equally between both charities. We are very grateful to all the people who supported us through their hard work, in addition to those who bought tickets and entered the auctions on the night and for the personal donations which totalled more than £20,000.
